A year of records came to an end in 2024. It was the warmest year since records began.

The news about weather extremes on our planet came thick and fast.

Flood disasters, hurricanes, fires, droughts. It was a year of extremes.

What will 2025 bring? To what extent will these extremes have an impact in 2025? Will they increase again?

Will we get the urgently needed measures off the ground?

It remains exciting and we will continue to report on hopes, innovations and setbacks.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our companions a Happy New Year!
