Mulled wine - the wine for certain hours

We like the punch's rough and ready brother. It is simple and down-to-earth - its tart charm also beguiles with its sour notes. For true connoisseurs, we even recommend Cousin Schilcher mulled wine.

I like it best in white with as little sugar as possible - but that's easy to control, because unlike its big brother, who predetermines the flavor, everyone can bring it to perfection on their own. That's perhaps what makes it so appealing to us individualists.

For all those who want to plunge uninhibitedly into wintery, aromatic wine bliss, here are the instructions:

Choose music for the theme.

pro.earth tip: the wonderful Christmas Herbert Pixner playlist 💚

🤶 1 bottle of wine (as I said, depending on your taste, red wine will be sweeter, white wine more tart, Schilcher very tart ❤)

🤶 ¼ l water

🤶 a few cloves

🤶 2 cinnamon sticks

🤶 little sugar (so that everyone can add to taste)

I like:

🤶 Star anise (not everyone's cup of tea)

The preparation is very simple. Put all the ingredients in a pan and heat slowly, but be careful because the mulled wine must NEVER boil!!! If foam forms, turn down the heat IMMEDIATELY.

Like many people who come across as rough, he is a particularly sensitive person - so take it easy! 😉

The whole glory should steep for several hours or overnight - if you put the spices in tea filters, they are particularly easy to remove.

Serve hot and best enjoyed with hearty dishes or on its own! Have fun!!! 💚
