Ideas for sustainably wrapped gifts

Of course, you can't do without presents. A few well-chosen pieces, time vouchers or even culinary delights - that warms the heart in the cold season.

The whole thing should then be lovingly wrapped under the Christmas tree... wonderful.

When it comes to packaging alone, there is room for improvement in our society. Tons of wrapping paper and PVC ribbons end up in the bin every year for the holidays (and they're not exactly cheap).

That is why we advocate packaging that does not have to be purchased separately or that can be reused.

Our tips for this:

💚 Collect old newspaper and use it as wrapping paper (sometimes you can even find a suitable article)

💚 Packaging as a gift: for example, a pretty bag that comes with the gift

💚 Jewelry in empty nutshells tied with a ribbon looks adorable

💚 Use spices (aniseed stars, cinnamon sticks...) as decoration or collect materials while walking (fir branches, wooden slices, holly...)

💚 Hemp straps or household cords instead of PVC straps!

💚 Cotton or jute fabric nicely tied up or sacks that can be reused every year

And much more - there are no limits to your imagination!
