WeFair is back - this time with a travel focus

After last year's successful premiere, the time has come again: WeFair is coming back to Vienna! From April 12 to 14, 2024, Austria's largest sustainability fair will present up to 200 exhibitors and their ideas, products and services for ideas, products and services for sustainable coexistence.

The focus this year is on sustainable travel - from organic hotels and upcycling backpacks to durable camping equipment. WeFair also offers the usual mix of fair fashion, organic food and eco-lifestyle. All exhibitors are checked by independent experts according to strict criteria. This ensures that visitors can shop with a clear conscience. Because WeFair is a greenwashing-free zone!

Over an area of 8,000 square meters, visitors to WeFair will find a sustainable alternative for every consumer decision over the three-day trade fair weekend: under one roof, they can discover and try out women's, men's and children's clothing, shoes, accessories, natural cosmetics, beautiful things for indoors and outdoors, sustainable investments, sporting goods and food, and buy them directly on site.

Environmentally friendly from arrival to the trade fair restaurant

A varied supporting program ranging from readings and award ceremonies to discussions, workshops and a raffle where every ticket wins offers a wide range of inspiration for sustainable living. To ensure that visitors can take part in all events and discover all exhibitors at their leisure, tickets are valid on all three days of the trade fair weekend.
As an EcoEvent Plus, WeFair naturally pays attention to environmentally friendly planning and implementation of the event: from easy access by public transport to barrier-free entrances and reusable exhibition stands made from recycled materials.

Sustainability in the timetable

WeFair puts sustainability on the timetable in the weeks leading up to the fair: At the WeFair Academy (previously WeFair Goes to School), workshops are held at schools in Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland and Styria on
on various topics relating to environmental and climate protection as well as fair working conditions. This turns schools into think tanks for a better tomorrow. Thanks to funding from the Climate and Energy Fund of the
Climate Protection Ministry, all workshops are free of charge. Participants also receive free admission to WeFair.

Austria's largest sustainability trade fair was first held in Linz in 2008 under the name WearFair and has developed over the years into a 360-degree trade fair for all areas of consumption. Under the new name WeFair
the fair brings together thousands of visitors and more than 200 exhibitors twice a year - in spring in Vienna and in fall in Linz.
