8 tips for a good Christmas

Christmas is a time of abundance - as long as no external influences bring us to our knees, this cannot be shaken. However, this results in a certain discrepancy with the signs of the times in which we find ourselves. We can resolve this by taking small steps away from our well-trodden, tinsel-lined paths - from a distance, this seems like a painful renunciation, but if we allow ourselves to do so, it turns out to be a great gain because the essential content comes to the fore and that is an absolute enrichment.

✨ Buy a real heartfelt wish (admittedly, this requires a lot of attention and can involve little things) - then one gift is enough

✨ Replace unnecessary gifts with homemade or heartfelt little things that you would enjoy yourself - stay away from prefabricated (overpriced) gift boxes

✨ Replace wrapping paper with alternatives that can be used for several years - we already have some tips on this

✨ Pay attention to its origin when buying a Christmas tree - we have already thought about this too

✨ Avoid Christmas markets with too much clutter (clear signs: bad music, the smell of fritter fat instead of gingerbread, too many lights, etc.).

✨ Look for ethically and organically good products when grocery shopping at Christmas and choose responsibly what you really need for that feeling of Christmas abundance

✨ Take your time - don't run from one thing to the next, but give your loved ones what they really need: attention

✨ Enjoy the time out during the holidays with all your senses and to the full 💚
