Poisonous plants in the garden

Do you know if you have any poisonous plants in your garden? Thuja perhaps? Or oleander? Yew tree? Or an apricot tree? Many plants are poisonous. Or parts of them. As always, it depends on the dosage. Because the same plants are also used for medicines. Today we #Beetschwestern want to give you a brief overview of poisonous plants. Knowledge protects. And knowledge is much better than fear. We don't need to be afraid of these plants. We need to know how to live well with them and also educate our children about these plants.

Measures in case of poisoning

      • If poisoning is suspected, you should act quickly.
      • As a self-measure, you can only drink WATER.
      • Do not try to vomit and do not make the poisoned person vomit, as this can make the situation worse.
      • Then you should take a plant sample to the doctor.
      • There are poison control centers in both Germany and Austria that you can call and they will help you!
