Halloween sustainably - is that possible?
Difficult - the festival of sweets, plastic decorations, light effects, dry ice excesses and streamers results in mountains of garbage several meters high.
Perhaps this consideration alone will help to bring about a change in thinking.
So here are some pro.earth tips that might help you:
🎃 No Halloween without pumpkin - but please use the insides for soup, cake or whatever you like
🎃 Lighting effects can also be achieved with candles - perhaps in a jar and paraffin-free
🎃 You can also make your own costumes and keep them in the stash
🎃 Make-up is also available without harmful substances - but before you buy anything, you could also see what your make-up bag has to offer anyway
🎃 No plastic decorations - if you have to, please be sure to add them to the collection
🎃 yes, and then the sweets... at least organic, without plastic packaging (mandarins painted like pumpkins are a nice idea)
🎃 Please make sure you take baskets, cloth bags or similar items with you to collect your loot on the spooky tour
Then you're ready to go... Trick or Treat!!! 🎃
